pack light. ride hard. drink slow. talk shit.

What is it?

A sociable, conversational, approach to bicycle touring based on riding all day and drinking all evening.

What do you do?

Pack a toolkit and a change of clothes for the bar.
Ride 100 miles.
Check in to a motel or similar. Shower.
Find a bar, drink and talk shit with the locals.
Repeat until you reach the other side of your chosen continent/country/county.

Each day take a small number of photos, write a small number of words and post the route.

Why?

It’s all about combining the three best things in life: cycling, drinking and talking shit with random strangers in a bar. And it’s about making that simple thing as simple as possible so that the process doesn't get in the way of the experience. There are a number of things that help to facilitate that simplicity.

First, pack a minimalist kit.

Second, enjoy the adventure and keep the documenting of the ride simple.

Travel light and enjoy the ride. And the conversation in the bar.
