Ducking and diving out of London in the morning via back streets, riverside paths, main roads and cycle paths. This part of Kent always feels very connected to London and I don't feel like I've actually left London until I'm in the country lanes heading towards Faversham.
The afternoon was spent tootling down the coast in the sunshine, mostlty on coastal paths of diverse and varied surfaces. Which was most pleasant.
Drinks in the Lord Nelson in Dover where talk was mainly of how much better Canterbury is.
